Anything, ANYTHING that makes going to the Secretary of State easier and less mind-numbing is appreciated.

At the moment, the SOS has online appointment options for 43 of their 88 branches. By mid-June, though, every single branch will have the feature.

The state of Michigan says that they are working towards guaranteeing a 30-minute window of time to get you in and out for services. This option will allow you to go online and set up an appointment on their website for a time that works for you.

I just saw one of my friends complaining about being at the SOS on Facebook for 3 hours the other day. I'll be interested to see if this really DOES make a difference in appointment times. I've made appointments before and waited well beyond my scheduled time. What's your experience been?
