The ruling is a reversal of Governor Whitmer's move to ban flavored vaping products throughout the state last month.

Yesterday, Court of Claims Judge Cynthia Diane Stephens ruled in favor of vaping companies, saying that "defendants are hereby enjoined and restrained from enforcing the the emergency rules at issue until further order of this court."

Owners of vape stores argued that the Governor didn't have the right to put a ban in place, which was the motivation for the preliminary injunction. However, this doesn't permanently reverse the ban, as it's still moving through the court system.

It's another day that ends in "y" that I'm glad I don't vape.
