When you Google things to see or do in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, you typically end up with things like Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Mackinac Island, Isle Royale, Tqhquamenon Falls, Kitchi-iti-kipi, and other things like that. Those are all great things to see and I feel everyone should check them out at least once in their lives, but there are also other unique things to see as well.

For example, there are several ski jumps in the Upper Peninsula that are pretty impressive as well. One of them has the highest vertical drop in the Midwest, another is one of the largest artificial ski jumps in the world, and one is simply called Suicide Hill. Those traits alone are worthy of a visit.

The Upper Peninsula is also home to several unique museums, mines, and a huge Ore Dock. For the gamblers out there, Michigan's U.P. is also home to eleven casinos. You don't have to look far to find something cool to do in this state and the Upper Peninsula is no exception to that. Take a look at the list below and then add some of your favorite unique spots in the comments.
