Flint Mayor Dayne Walling will deliver his annual State of the City address next Monday in which he will outline ideas of working together for the city's future.

According to the City of Flint's website, the master planning process will be the main focus of the address and is "the key to reshaping Flint now and into the future."

Walling said "our focus now has to be on the community plan for Flint's future and immediate 2013 goals, yet the address will look back briefly at the City's 2012 challenges and accomplishments as well."

The State of the City address is presented annually at a special meeting of the Flint City Council. It will be held Monday, February 18th at 4 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall. The public is encouraged to attend.
