‘Where the Wild Things Are’ Author Dies
The author who wrote the children's classic, Where the Wild Things Are, has died according to TMZ.
Maurice Sendak passed away at a hospital in Connecticut this morning. Sendak was said to have suffered a stroke last Friday.
Where the Wild Things Are was first published in 1963. Sendak not only wrote the book, but also illustrated it. In 2009, the book was made into a movie.
He was 83 years-old.
