In his recent interview over Django Unchained, Quentin Tarantino reminded me of the serial killer “interviewed” by Dirty Harry in the football stadium.  Same exaggerated facial features.  Same narcissism.  It’s uncanny:

Either Tarantino believes that movie violence does not contribute to violence in real life, or he doesn’t care.  We don’t know which because he didn’t appreciate the suggestion that the release of his latest violent orgy might be a fitting opportunity to address this question.  Tarantino wasn’t “biting.”  Like the serial killer in Dirty Harry, Tarantino displayed an impressive awareness of and insistence on his rights.  He’s “not a slave.”  He’s nobody’s “monkey.”  Click here for video of the interview.
