United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine

As discussed earlier today on the Brenda Brisette-Mata show, this is the map of the proposed United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine in 1947.

The proposal was accepted by leaders of the Jewish Community in Palestine, but was rejected by leaders of the Arab Community who were supported in their rejection by the states of the Arab league.
