courtesy Rep. Dan Kildee

Congressman Dan Kildee (MI-05) and State Senator Jim Ananich will hold a roundtable discussion in Flint this afternoon highlighting the need for Congress to pass an extension of emergency unemployment benefits.

Also on hand with Kildee and Ananich will be residents of the Fifth Congressional District who are unemployed and continue to look for work. At the roundtable, the residents will share how recent congressional inaction and failure to extend unemployment benefits has hurt their families.

The roundtable discussion takes place at 1:45 p.m. at 801 S. Saginaw St in Flint.
