U.S. Rep. Dan Kildee Invites Author Who Bashed Flint For Visit

Congressman Dan Kildee has invited PolicyMic author Laura Dimon to come and visit Flint.

Dimon wrote an article titled "This is America's Most Apocalyptic, Violent City - And You've Probably Never Heard Of It." It's since been reported that Dimon never even visited Flint.

In a tweet to Dimon, Kildee says "Name a date @LauraDimon, and I'll happily show you the true story of Flint and the determination of the people who live here." #FlintLove

Kildee was born and raised in Flint and now represents the city and surrounding communities of the Fifth Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.
