The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has announced two projects that will affect drivers in Genesee County beginning Monday, July 8th:

  • Ramp improvements on southbound I-75 to eastbound and westbound I-69 over the Swartz Creek. All lanes will remain open on southbound I-75 over the Swartz Creek. One lane will be open on the I-75 ramp to eastbound and westbound I-69. Ramp access will be maintained at all times.
  • Bridge improvements on the Maple Road Bridge over I-75 in Flint and the Baldwin Road bridge over I-75 in Grand Blanc. Includes intermittent single-lane closures on I-75 and nighttime double lane closures at both bridges. Maple Road will be closed with traffic detoured from Holly Road to Saginaw Road.
