Two people are in custody after a police chase through downtown Flint on Wednesday night. According to WNEM, the incident happened just after 6 p.m. on Martin Luther King Blvd. Police had attempted to pull over a Chevy Impala with two men inside but the car didn't stop and instead went faster. Police saw one of the occupants toss a gun outside the vehicle. A Michigan State Police car was used to force the vehicle off the road and into a snow bank. Both men were taken into custody and there were no injuries. Authorities said this incident was especially troubling since anyone could have picked up the gun thrown from the vehicle.
