On Friday, Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton charged two Flint men with muder in the January double homicide of a man and woman in the City of Flint.

William Evans, 20, and Steven Webster, 26, are each charged with two counts of Open Murder in the shooting deaths of Oscar Knuckles, Jr. of Mt. Morris Township and Amyre Aikins of Flint. Knuckles and Aikins were found dead at 1207 N. Ballenger around 11:30 p.m. on January 18th. The vehicle Aikins had been driving was found burned out at the scene and the vehicle Knuckles had been driving was found the next day at another address.

In addition to the double murder charges, both Evans and Webster have also been charged with armed robbery, carjacking and felony firearm. Webster was also charged as being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
