Three good jokes and one bad one – you decide which is which.

• Last week in a meeting with a member of the original Star Trek cast, President Obama flashed the Vulcan salute. So apparently the race for the geek vote is now officially on.

• Not to be outdone, Mitt Romney announced he’ll be delivering his next campaign speech entirely in Klingon. And if that doesn’t work the next step is Leonard Nimoy as his running mate.

• North Korea’s controversial satellite rocket – which Western leaders thought was really a ballistic missile test – crashed into the sea after a short flight. It’s a huge embarrassment, but North Korea leader Kim Jong Un, however, is largely doing what I do when I trip over nothing on the sidewalk, “I meant to do that.”

• And finally, the Three Stooges movie is being released today. Moms everywhere are worried about their kids copy-catting the abuse they see in the film. Emergency rooms, however, are counting on it. Ka-ching!
