Tim Herman, successful varsity basketball coach at Flint Powers high school, announced his resignation today.  Mr. Herman is very active in the community with the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce among his other responsibilities in the area.  I was always amazed as to how much this man kept on his plate.

Not only is Tim someone that is very well respected for his business sense, but he became a very knowledgeable basketball coach.  I had my trepidations when he first took over for Jack Pratt, but he showed alot of people how much he knew about the sport.  Herman built the Chargers into a team that became a well-respected team across Michigan, and even won a state championship.

Thanks for the memories, Tim.  Thanks for letting us broadcast games from the Breslin Center.  Thanks for all the excitement your teams provided for not only the Powers faithful, but for entire sports community.  You will be missed, my friend.
