Over 2,200 tips have been submitted to law enforcement regarding the roadway shootings that have terrorized drivers in Michigan the past few weeks.

A Michigan State Police news release says investigators are continuing to actively pursue the leads, of which 1,300 came in after the FBI and ATF increased the reward.

Law enforcement continues to solicit information about a dark-colored car and a suspect matching the sketch based on a witness account. The task force reminds citizens to report any information they may have leading to potential suspects, as they believe it will lead them to the suspect.

Contrary to many media reports, the task force says only three of the reported 24 incidents occurred on I-96. The others incidents occurred on trunk lines and local streets.

Anonymous tips can be reported to 1-800-SPEAK-UP and tips can also be reported to any police agency. There is a $102,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction.
