Two Teens Charged with Breaking into Store to Steal K2, Spice

Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton has charged two Fenton teenagers with breaking into a local store to steal the synthetic drug known as K2 or Spice.

Snyder Signs Bill to Classify K2, Spice as Schedule 1 Drugs

Governor Rick Snyder signed legislation on Tuesday to ensure K2, Spice and other dangerous synthetic drugs no longer find their way on to Michigan store shelves.

The synthetic drugs will now be included in the list of Schedule 1 drugs, and producers and distributors will be subject to the same penalties as those of other drugs in the classification
