State Senate Considering Gasoline Tax Increase

Michigan senators are considering an increase to the state's gasoline tax as a way to generate money needed for road improvements.

According to WNEM, the discussion comes after a House vote to gradually allow the state's 19 cents a gallon tax to go as high as 32 1/2 cents over time. The increase could generate $450 million per year.
