Genesee Towers Site Being Filled in With Dirt [Video]

The spot where the Genesee Towers once stood is now being filled in with dirt. The project should be complete in time for Back to the Bricks and the Crim Festival of Races. According to ABC 12, the footprint is 12 feet deep, but a local company is bringing in enough sand and dirt to fill the entire hole. Genesee Towers came down when it was imploded last December. Eventually a park may be built on the site.
