The Detroit Tigers released Brandon Inge today, saying good-bye to the current, longest tenured Tiger. Inge has been with the Tigers since 2001, and according to the Detroit News, Inge says his "heart will always be in Detroit."

Icy roads gave Detroit Tiger's third baseman a bit of a scare this morning -- according to the Detroit Free Press, Inge was involved in a six-car pile up just west of Ann Arbor, Mich. -- no one was injured.
