A survey from the Genesee County Health Department (GCHD) to monitor the health of Flint and Genesee County residents is continuing. The survey, called the 2013 Speak to Your Health! Community Survey, is sponsored by the GCHD and the Prevention Research Center of Michigan (PRC/MI). This is the sixth year that the survey is being conducted in an ongoing effort to monitor the health of residents.

This year, residents will have three ways they may participate: through face-to-face interviews, a copy sent by mail to randomly selected households and an online version of the survey available on the GCHD's website.

The survey will continue until 1,800 adults have successfully completed it. Participants are asked about a variety of health issues including their own health status and behaviors, as well as access to health care, neighborhood conditions and more.

Those interested in completing the online survey can visit www.gchd.us and click on the Speak To Your Health! Community Survey located on the left side of the home page.
