Apple co-founder -- Steve Jobs -- passed away earlier today (Wednesday) after a long battle with cancer. Jobs was best known introducing the world to the iPod and iPhone, which revolutionized the music industry. Find out more after the jump.

Steve Jobs has been battling cancer for years, he took a leave of absense in January and just recently stepped down as CEO of Apple.

Apple stated: "Steve's brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives, the world is immeasurably better because of Steve."
