State Senator Jim Ananich will host a telephone town hall this weekend to discuss challenges faced by working families. A news release says residents of the 27th District will have a unique opportunity to interact with Ananich and a panel of experts on issues ranging from consumer debt to paid sick leave.

The call will take place on Sunday, September 14 at 6 p.m. At that time, residents who have RSVP'd to the event will receive a phone call asking them to join the town hall. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage with the panelists through a series of poll questions throughout the call.

Panelists for the telephone town hall include: Megan Kursik from the Community Economic Development Association of Michigan, Danielle Atkinson of Mothering Justice and Peter Ruark from the Michigan League for Public Policy.

All residents who would like to participate are asked to RSVP here and be available Sunday evening.
