State Gas Prices Down After Holiday Weekend

State motorists are paying an average of $3.70 per gallon for gas this week, down 2.1 cents from last week and down 25 cents from a year ago, reports AAA Michigan.

Gas prices in and around Flint are nearly the lowest in the state. The average cost for a gallon of gas is just over $3.65 a gallon. Down a penny from last week and a quarter from last year's prices. In the Metro Detroit area, gas prices are averaging $3.68 per gallon.
