Mike Schmidt

Profession: Retired MLB Player
Best Known For: A 12-time All-Star third baseman, Mike Schmidt played for the Philadelphia Phillies from 1972 to 1989. Considered by many to be the best third baseman of all-time, Schmidt won three National League Most Valuable Player Awards, 10 Gold Glove Awards and led the National League in home runs in eight seasons. He was a member of the Phillies’ team that won the 1980 World Series. Schmidt was selected to the Major League Baseball All-Time Team and inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1995.

Beth Heiden
Age: 53
Profession: Retired Olympian
Best Known For: Winner of a bronze medal in speed skating at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, NY, Beth Heiden represented America in speed skating, cross-country skiing and bicycle racing at world championships. Her brother, Eric, won five gold medals as a speed skater at Lake Placid.

Steve Kerr
Age: 47
Profession: Retired NBA Player
Best Known For: The most accurate 3-point shooter in NBA history, Steve Kerr played for the Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers, Orlando Magic, Chicago Bulls, San Antonio Spurs and Portland Trail Blazers from 1988 to 2003. Kerr was a member of five teams that won the NBA championship.

Jon Rauch
Age: 34
Profession: MLB Player
Best Known For: The tallest pitcher in major league history at 6’11”, Jon Rauch is a member of the New York Mets. Since debuting in 2002, Rauch has also played with the Chicago White Sox, Montreal Expos/Washington Nationals, Arizona Diamondbacks, Minnesota Twins and Toronto Blue Jays. He was a member of the U.S. men’s baseball team that won the gold medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney.
