He was an eight-time Gold Glove Award winner and was the American League Most Valuable Player in 1952 while with the A’s. Shantz was a member of the Yankees’ team that won the 1958 World Series.

Best Known For: Joe Nemechek is a NASCAR driver with four Cup Series wins since joining the circuit in 1993. He won the 1992 Busch Series championship and is still active on the Nationwide Series tour.

Craig Janney

Best Known For: Hailing from Sweden, Henrik and Daniel Sedin are identical twin brothers who have played for the Vancouver Canucks since 2000. A three-time All-Star, Henrik won the Hart Memorial MVP and Art Ross scoring trophies in 2010. A two-time All-Star, Daniel won the Art Ross Trophy as the league’s leading scorer and the Ted Lindsay Award as the best player elected by his peers in 2011. They were both members of the Swedish national hockey team that won the gold medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin.
