Snyder Names Former Acting Mayor Michael Brown Flint’s Emergency Manager

Former interim Mayor of Flint, Michael Brown, was named the city's Emergency Manager today by Governor Rick Snyder.

Current Flint Mayor Dayne Walling was notified of the Governor's appointment at 1:30 p.m. Walling issued a statement saying "I look forward to working with Mr. Brown to address the community’s priorities and to secure the City’s financial stability."
