A shooting suspect has been apprehended due to an anonymous tip according to the City of Flint.

On Saturday, February 22, suspect Edward Rousseau, Jr. was alleged to have fired multiple shots from a shotgun into a home on the 1700 block of N. Lynch St. Rousseau then fled in a vehicle when the victim returned fire. The City of Flint says an anonymous tip to the Flint Police Department led to the successful apprehension of Rousseau this past Sunday, March 16. The City of Flint says this incident is yet another example that shows the importance of community involvement and sharing information with the police.
