Sec. of State Johnson to Visit Local Branch

Secretary of State Ruth Johnson is expected to visit the Mundy Township branch office on Tuesday to promote a food bank fundraiser according to Mlive.

Johnson will be at the Flint area SUPER! Center at 10 a.m. where she will speak about the Food Bank Council of Michigan’s Annual Michigan Harvest Gathering fundraiser. The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, William Kerr, is also expected to attend.

This year Michigan Secretary of State branch offices are supporting the councils annual food and fundraiser by serving as collection sites.

The Mundy Township branch, located at 5512 Fenton Road, has been collecting food since September.
