A search for the next president of Mott Community College has been narrowed down to four finalists.

According to MLive, interviews and forums with the finalists will take place the week of June 9th. The search for a new president began earlier this year after Richard Shank announced he was retiring after 14 years as president. Shank said he would retire when a replacement was found.

MLive says the four finalists are:

  • Paul Gasparro, vice president for Student Success Initiatives at Cuyahoga Community College in Ohio
  • Tiffany Evans, vice president of Academic Affairs and chief academic officer at South Piedmont Community College in North Carolina
  • Beverly Walker-Griffea, senior vice president for Student Services at Montgomery College in Maryland
  • Derrick Manns, vice president of Academics at Louisiana Community and Technical College System in Los Angeles

Input from the forums will be compiled and given to Mott's Board of Trustees to choose a new president.
