Scrap Metal Thief Convicted of Stealing Aluminum Siding from Flint Home
A man accused of stealing scrap metal from a Flint home has been convicted of theft.
Warren Bolds was convicted of larceny for stripping aluminum siding from a home located at 406 Grace.
On January 13, 2013, officers were dispatched to the location in reference to a tip received that Bolds was removing and loading a shopping cart with aluminum siding from the house. Officers apprehended Bolds who was covered in yellow paint chips matching the house and had a shopping cart of aluminum siding in his possession.
Scheduling for Bolds is scheduled for September 20th. Mandatory sentencing for scrap metal theft is 90 days in jail.
