Salvation Army of Genesee County Hosting Job Fairs for Bell Ringers

A sign of the impending holidays, the Salvation Army of Genesee County will host two job fairs this month looking for bell ringers for the upcoming 2013 Red Kettle campaign.

Both part-time and full-time bell ringer positions are available. The job fairs will be held on Monday, October 7th at the Beecher Corps at 1475 W. Coldwater Road, and Monday, October 14th at the Citadel Corps at 211 W. Kearsley in downtown Flint.

The jobs will pay $7.40 an hour with the potential for performance bonuses and each location is expected to hire 100 workers or more. To apply, applicants are required to attend one of the job fairs, be 18 years old, provide a valid driver's license, Social Security card and schedule of availability. The Salvation Army Red Kettle bell ringing season kicks off on Friday, November 8th and continues through Tuesday, December 24th.
