State Representative Woodrow Stanley (D-Flint) will hold a community meeting to discuss home heating shut-offs that have affected seniors and other vulnerable residents. This is an important issue given the unfortunate, all too frequent deaths of those who have had their home heating cut off during the winter months.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss resources for senior and other residents, and disseminate information necessary for community preparedness. Representative Stanley will be joined by representatives from relevant home heating companies and organizations.

The meeting is Friday, March 2 from 9-11 a.m. It's being held at the Hasselbring Community Center located at 1002 W. Home Avenue in Flint.
