Rep. Dan Kildee to Speak at Business Luncheon, Unveil Legislative Package in Flint Visit

U.S. Representative Dan Kildee of Michigan's Fifth Congressional District will be visiting Flint today.

Kildee will speak at the West Flint Business Association's monthly meeting where he will give an update on recent congressional activities and his work in Congress to date.

Later in the afternoon, Kildee will hold a press conference where he is expected to unveil a new, multi-bill package he will introduce in Congress to help fund afterschool programs, reduce violence and increase opportunity for children in Flint and other communities across his district.

The West Flint Business Association's luncheon begins at 12 p.m. and is being held at the Valley Family Restaurant located at 5009 Miller Rd in Flint Township. The press conference is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. and is being held at Pierce Creative Arts Elementary School located 1101 W. Vernon Dr. in Flint.
