Red Wings, NHL in Discussions to Host Outdoor Game

The Detroit Red Wings are in discussions with the NHL to host an upcoming Winter Classic outdoor game.

According to Mlive, it could be as early as next season or the following.

Two venues are being discussed to host the game: Comerica Park and Michigan Stadium. The Wings have played in a previous Winter Classic against Chicago in 2009.
