A recount for the Flint City Council First Ward seat is scheduled for tomorrow after the Genesee County Board of Canvassers granted Anita Brown's request last week. Brown lost to Eric Mays by just seven votes in the November 5th election.

According to MLive, Brown alleged "underhanded activities" at polling locations when requesting the recount. The Board of Canvassers approved Brown's request by a 3-1 vote prior to Saturday's incident in which Mays was arrested for allegedly operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, possession of marijuana and two other misdemeanor charges.

The recount will be held at Flint City Hall and will include all six precincts within the First Ward as well as all absentee ballots.
