An Ingham County judge ruling put the recall effort against Representative Paul Scott of Grand Blanc on hold. According to Mlive, any hope to still have the recall on November 8, rests with the Michigan Supreme Court. Recall organizers have already filed a request for the court to reverse the decision. While recall  organizers pledge to keep up the fight, Scott himself seems to be breathing a sigh of relief. The lawmaker doesn't believe the Supreme Court will take the case in time for a reversal.  Scott pointed out that if voters want him out of office, they'll have an opportunity to do so next November.
