Prosecutors have rested their case against alleged serial stabber Elias Abuelazam who is charged with going on a murder spree in the summer of 2010. Fourteen people were stabbed in and around Flint and five of the victims died.

According to WNEM, one of the survivors, Bill Fisher, testified on Tuesday. He was the fourth victim to do so, testifying that a motorist had asked for his help before stabbing him. Fisher identified Abuelazam as his attacker.

Abuelazam has been on trial for five days. He is charged in the death of 49-year-old Arnold Minor. Attorneys for the defense are expected to state their case to the jury beginning Thursday morning.
