Possible Meth Lab Explosion at Flint Apartment Complex

Police are investigating a late night explosion that took place at an apartment complex on East Boulevard and Pierson Road.

According to MLive, officers from the Flint Area Narcotics Group believe the explosion to be the result of a meth lab. Components that make up a meth lab were found on site. NBC 25 says the explosion occurred in the bathroom

Officers said the building was evacuated and that there was at least one person who suffered burns.

Police say there are suspects in the incident, but have declined to say whether arrests have been made. The scene has been blocked off as officers continue to investigate.
