Police Have Person of Interest in Northern High School Shooting

Police have a suspect in the shooting of a 19-year-old man that happened last night outside Northern High School.

According to Mlive, authorities say they have identified a person of interest although no arrests have been made as of yet. Police have also declined to say what sparked the shooting. The 19-year-old man was shot around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night in the parking lot at Northern. He was taken to the hospital where he was listed in good condition.

Many of the people in attendance last night were unaware of the shooting. The game was part of the Coca-Cola classic…which featured several boys and girls high school teams in the area.
