Saginaw Valley State University will host their largest job fair this week, with more than 170 employers on site. The annual Spring University-Wide Employment and Networking Fair is this Friday from noon to 3 pm at Curtiss Hall.

Of the 170 businesses looking to fill positions, some of them have regional or national footprints. According to ABC12, some of the businesses participating on Friday include the American Red Cross, Covenant Heathcare, Dow Chemical, the FBI, and Quicken Loans.

Saginaw Valley State University has some job fair tips posted on their website to help you be prepared for this Friday. The first tip is to check out all of the participating businesses on their website and make a list of the ones you want to connect with. Another tip is to practice and prepare your introduction and questions for each business. You won't have much time with each person, so doing research on the companies you are interested in before you get there is crucial.

If you have any questions about the job and networking fair, you can contact career services at (989) 964-4954, or get more information on Saginaw Valley's website.
