Detroit Lions defensive tackle Nick Fairley was arrested yesterday in Mobile, Alabama and charged with possession of marijuana, according to the Detroit Free Press.

Fairley was pulled over after a citizen complained that his Cadillac Escalade was speeding through a Mobile neighborhood. He was cited for second degree possession, booked into Mobile's Metro jail facility. He posted $1,000 bond and was released.

Fairley is the latest Lion from the 2011 draft class to have troubles with the law. Running back Mikel Leshoure had two marijuana related incidents in an 11 day span at the beginning of March. In January, offensive tackle Johnny Culbreath was arrested for possession of marijuana also. He was spotted putting two blunts into a hotel's hallway dresser drawer.

Fairley was a first round draft pick out of Auburn. He missed 10 games last season due to injury.
