Neighborhood Groups Raising Funds for K9 Bulletproof Vest

Multiple Flint neighborhood groups are coming together to help raise funds for the Flint Police Department's newest K9 unit. According to ABC 12, when Flint Neighborhoods United heard 4-year-old Edo didn't have a bulletproof vest, they decided to pitch in. The group launched a "Go Fund Me" online fundraiser. The goal is to raise $3,500. Edo, a German Shepard, was donated to the Flint PD last month by the Little Traverse Bay Band Tribal Police Department near Petoskey. Michigan State University's Veterinary program is helping with Edo's food and medical care,
