Reports are confirmed that Ndamukong Suh is headed to Miami to become the highest paid defensive player in the NFL.

The deal will give Suh $114 million, including $60 million in guaranteed money over six years.  NFL insider Chris Mortensen tweeted out the details over the weekend.

The Lions opted not to put the Franchise tag on Suh, but that doesn't mean they didn't want to bring him back to Detroit.  The Lions put a huge offer in front of Suh, but he opted for Miami.

So how much of an affect do you think this will have on the Lions next season?  Some fans are happy to see Suh go, but as of right now Detroit doesn't have an immediate replacement.  Can the Detroit defense live up to the high standards set last season?
