The Flint Police Department is investigating multiple shootings over the weekend in a span of 36 hours that left two people dead.

According to WNEM, the first of three shootings occurred Saturday morning around 1:30 a.m. outside the Palm Tree Lounge on Clio Road. The victim, 27-year-old Antwan Omar Tipton, was refused entry into the club, left the scene and returned with a handgun. Tipton exchanged shots with security personnel when he was struck by a bullet and killed.

Another shooting occurred around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday on Marvin Street between E.Van Wagoner and Gillespie Avenues. Police found shell casings near the victim's body but no other information has been made available.

The third shooting took place around 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Authorities say a victim jumped out from a burgundy SUV into a gold Cadillac. The victim was shot in the head and was taken to Hurley Medical Center. No other information was available.
