We're following a very sad story from West Michigan right now after a mother intentionally drove her vehicle into the Kalamazoo River with her two children in the car.

Authorities say they have recovered the bodies of all three victims as of this morning. The names of the 44-year-old woman and her two nine-year-old daughters have not yet been released.

The incident began Monday (6/17) evening when a family member alerted authorities that the woman had driven her car into the river. The mother's body and the body of one of the girls were found first and the second girl's body was recovered when crews pulled the vehicle from the water this morning.

WOOD-TV reports that the incident is still under investigation.
