‘Missing in Michigan’ Event Being Held in Flint this Weekend
An event being held this Saturday over at University of Michigan – Flint will hope to bring awareness to those that have gone missing. Michigan’s Missing Persons’ Day 2014 is for families and friends who have been affected by the mysterious disappearance of a loved one.
Law enforcement agencies will be on hand and will be able to update their databases using new technologies such as DNA from family members and online profiles. Families are asked to bring photographs, dental charts, x-rays and medical information. Officers will also take tips on old cases and new ones. Speakers will also be on hand and promoting child safety by handing out free child ID kits will take place.
Attendees are asked to wear yellow to show their support of those ‘Missing in Michigan’. It takes place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Harding Mott University Place Building on campus.
