The Michigan State Police are joining forces with five other state law enforcement agencies as part of a six-state trooper project focused on distracted driving. MSP Director Col. Kriste Kibbey Etue said “in addition to focusing on distracted driving behaviors, troopers will also be on the lookout for seat belt use, speeding, aggressive and impaired driving.” Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Pennsylvania and West Virginia are also participating in the effort which runs through July 26th.
