Members of Alleged Howard Boys Street Gang Indicted

Charges have been filed against nearly two-dozen men who are reported to be a part of the Howard Boys street gang.

U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade and Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton announced the 34-count indictment.

According to the Detroit News, charges include racketeering, murder, conspiracy to commit murder and assault with intent to murder.

The indictments follow an investigation by local and federal agencies. Authorities allege the Howard Boys have operated for almost ten years on Flint's south side in and around the Howard Estates housing project.
