Deer hunters headed up north this season are being reminded that even though work is nearing completion on I-75 and the Zilwaukee Bridge in Saginaw County, there are still some lane restrictions in place that could cause delays:

  • Southbound I-75 currently has two lanes open.
  • Northbound I-75 traffic is still being rerouted to I-675.
  • The Adams Street ramp to southbound I-75 remains closed.
  • The southbound I-75 ramp to M-13 remains closed.

Traffic delays in these areas are expected and motorists are being advise to allow extra time. MDOT also says choosing an alternate route, which may require driving additional miles, could save time overall.

Motorists heading up north from the Flint area are advised to use I-69 to northbound US-127 or northbound M-15 before merging back with I-75.
