MDOT Now has Maps Available for Upcoming Construction Season

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) Paving the Way annual 2014 statewide highway construction maps are now available. Michigan drivers can also get more specific maps for construction on major state routes such as the Detroit and Grand Rapids areas. MDOT provides free updated maps each year to help the traveling motorists to help locate major road and bridge projects across the state. MDOT is trying to Pave the Way so Michigan motorists will be prepared for construction season. The 2014 print edition maps will be available at all MDOT Transportation Service Centers, region offices, and at all welcome centers.  You can download a PDF File of the 2014 map from the "Maps and Publication" section of the MDOT website here. They also remind everyone to slow down and be alert when driving through work zones.
